David lives in Durham, England with his wife Jenny. They have two grown up daughters and one grandson.

For much of his working life he has been involved in Christian publishing, both in the UK and internationally. For a number of years David was on the staff team of St. Andrew’s Church Chorleywood where, with Jenny, he was responsible for the development and oversight of Missional Communities and their leaders. He has been involved in the wider work of helping churches and their leaders as they explore and develop missional discipleship, both in the UK and Europe.

Currently he is a member of  St Luke’s church in Newcastle upon Tyne, where he and Jenny look after the training and mentoring of leaders, helping them to establish and lead community groups.

The establishment of a discipleship and mission culture in the church and the raising and releasing leaders is a key focus of his time. Alongside this the creating and publishing of good Christian books is still a passion.

David has been involved with Catalyse Change since its inception.
