Nike Adebajo

Nike has decades of experience in church leadership and in helping people and churches grow a culture of prayer and intercession, as well as of mission and discipleship. 

She is Associate Minister at King’s Centre in Sheffield, where she is also the Coordinator of emPower, a city-wide prayer network, and co-instigator of Sheffield Leaders in Prayer. 

For many years, Nike ran a diversity training and development consultancy in South Yorkshire having worked in policy and management positions in Borough and City Councils, as well as in the voluntary sector in the UK. 

She was a university lecturer in Nigeria before moving to the UK over 30 years ago.  She served as National Women’s Co-ordinator within the Overseas Fellowship of Nigerian Christians and is a trustee of several organisations. 

Her PhD is in Sociolinguistics and she also holds a Graduate Diploma in Theology Ministry & Missions. 

She’s married to Ade and they have grown up children. She loves music, crochet and supports Arsenal Football Club.
